Salary:    £21,955 - £24,277 (pro rata)

Part-Time (24 hours per week)

Ten Month Fixed Term Contract


Do you like supporting the community and improving the wellbeing of people? This is an opportunity to join our Community Support Services team and make a positive contribution to the residents of the borough. 


We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team, who has experience in working in a busy office environment.  You will need to be organised, have excellent customer services skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.  Good interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills are essential.


The Community Support Services Division provides a wide range of services for older people and people with disabilities, including Meals on Wheels, Community Alarm, Community Transport and the Elmbridge Relief Carers Scheme.


You will be working in a small team assisting customers in accessing our services.  Your hours of work will be: Tuesdays 9 – 2pm, Wednesdays, 1 – 5pm,
Thursdays 9 – 5pm, Fridays 9 – 5pm


About you

  • You have empathy with older people.
  • You are organised, flexible and can work within time frames.
  • You have excellent customer care.
  • You have experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.
