Our green spaces, commons and cemeteries are highly treasured by our residents. This is your chance to take guardianship of these much-loved facilities that are such an important part of Elmbridge life.

And what a team! You will be working with a determined and committed group, passionate about protecting and enhancing the green spaces, cemeteries and commons in Elmbridge. They know the value of these spaces to our residents, especially our most vulnerable residents.

Working within the Countryside Team you will work with the Countryside Officer to undertake habitat management and estate maintenance duties including managing countryside volunteers and invasive species control.

A skilled ranger with enthusiasm for nature conservation.

An enthusiastic individual is sought for an immediate start. Must demonstrate interest in nature conservation and possess a current driving licence.

You will be able to demonstrate that you can,

  • Organise and manage countryside volunteers to carry out practical conservation tasks.
  • You will be qualified or willing to take a qualification for noxious weed control.
  • The post may entail some evening and weekend duties.
